Busy day(s)!!!!

So busy I couldn’t even fit it all on the Library whiteboard!  Check out the photo below…

  • Turn Off Your Sites – pledge to go social media free for 24 hours, join us for a Tech Free Lunch in the Library, come play games, (magnetic) darts, cards, learn origami, and more.
  • CIVIX Rep Day in Your School – Mr. James Maloney, Liberal MP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore will be here to talk about government with Civics classes after lunch. Rep Day brings MPs into classrooms for an engaging discussion of their role in government and current political issues.  This is a great opportunity to build from the political conversations that were had during Student Vote last fall and foster democratic engagement between elections. By asking MPs questions face-to-face, students can start to look beyond the voting process and gain firsthand insight on the role of their representative in the political process.  The Library will be CLOSED during this session.
  • RAD Night – In the Library, starting at 4pm
  • ComiCon Steering Committee meeting – We will meet in the Library Conference Room from 3:15pm until 4:00pm.
  • SEARS Drama Festival – Support your classmates!  ESA performs at Lakeshore CI tonight at 7:00pm.  OK, so this is not in the Library, but, seriously…  you gotta go support your classmates.  I’ll be there.
