National Poetry Month: Poem of the Day

Our poem of the day for today is: Sonoma by Jane Munro

“He totaled his blue truck —
slowly spun out on an icy bridge,
rammed it into a guard rail.

Climbed out unbruised.
Coal Creek. Middle of nowhere.
A passing couple brought him home…”

Jane Munro is a Canadian poet who grew up in North Vancouver.  She has written 6 books of poetry. She is also part of the poetry collective “Yoko’s Dogs.”
