National Poetry Month: Poem of the Day (April 21st)

Our poem of the day for today is: Cyclist by Jan Horner.

“Every night the bicycle;
rides over mountains to me
Every night the man who rides;
turns away over the Arctic Circle
He talks slower, softer
but the wheels spin on…”

Born in Cambridge, Ontario, Jan Horner works in Winnipeg as a librarian. She won the McNally-Robinson Book of the Year Award in 1988.

(With apologies…  I thought I posted this yesterday!!! Apparently not…)
