National Poetry Month: Poem of the Day

Our poem of the day for today is: Acceptable Dissociations by Sina Queyras.

“ Meanwhile the expressway’s hum, it roars into
Her, the expressway cargo and tree-lined, stretched
Radio towers, mowers its horns and hogs…”

Ms. Queyras grew up in western Canada, and has lived all over the country. She’s written one novel, a book of essays, and six books of poetry. She currently teaches at Concordia University in Montreal.
