National Poetry Month: Poem of the Day

Our poem of the day for today is: Saturday Walking by Noah Leznoff.

“Walking the street
covered in simplicity like air
like rain-thick wind humming
and no nothing tired,
but a road moved healthily under me
and the wind made a sail of my shirt…”

Born in Montreal, Mr. Leznoff’s first work appeared in Mad Angels and Amphetamines, and received Honourable Mention for the First Annual Bronwen Wallace Award. He currently lives in Markham, Ontario.
